Introduction About VIAGRA 50MG TABLET

Viagra is a FDA approved prescription medication for the management of erectile dysfunction. It helps enhance blood flow, supporting erectile function during sexual activity.

Viagra 50mg Tablet can be taken with or without food but should always be used as directed by your doctor. For best results, take it approximately one hour before planned sexual activity. While the time it takes to work may vary from person to person, it usually starts acting within 30 minutes to an hour. This medicine works only when there is sexual stimulation. Do not exceed the recommended dose of one tablet in 24 hours.

Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medicine, as it can increase the likelihood of experiencing side effects such as dizziness or headache and may decrease the effectiveness of Viagra Tablet.

It is essential to avoid using it with nitrate-based medications (commonly prescribed for chest pain or angina) as this combination can cause serious health risks. Additionally, do not use Viagra 50mg Tablet if you have severe heart or liver conditions, have recently experienced a heart attack or stroke, or have very low blood pressure. Always inform your doctor about your medical history before starting this medication.

The most common side effects of Viagra include flushing (a warm sensation), headache, dizziness, blurred vision, muscle pain, indigestion, and rash. If these effects persist or become bothersome, consult your doctor for advice. They may adjust your dosage or suggest an alternative treatment. Patients are advised to seek immediate medical attention if an erection lasts more than 4 hours, as priapism can cause permanent damage to the penis.

WASHINGTON, Dec. 16 -- U. S. health officials are recommending against the use of the impotence drug Viagra to help women who are still in a relationship.

Viagra, a prescription drug approved by the FDA for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, is also known as sildenafil citrate.

"Viagra has not been approved by the FDA for use as a sexual aid for women," said Dr. Steven Nissen, a Viagra spokeswoman.

The FDA recommends against the use of Viagra because it can cause dangerous side effects and increases the risk of heart attack and stroke.

"We have not seen a causal connection between Viagra and strokes or heart attacks," Nissen said.

Viagra is sold under the brand name Revatio. It has been used in clinical trials to help women who are still in a relationship. Revatio works by inhibiting a chemical called PDE5, which is responsible for relaxing the blood vessels in the penis.

Viagra may also cause erectile dysfunction. A clinical trial involving a small number of women using Viagra found that those who took it had an increased chance of having sexual problems.

The Food and Drug Administration approved Viagra for use in women between the ages of 18 and 41 when taking certain medications that affect blood flow to the penis, such as nitrates and certain alpha-blockers.

Viagra is not approved for use by men of any age. Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant must not take the drug unless the benefits outweigh the potential risks.

Viagra is not for use in children.

Nissen said the FDA has not approved use of Viagra for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.

"We have not seen a causal connection between Viagra and strokes or heart attacks," she said.

Viagra has been used in clinical trials to help women who are in a relationship. The study, which was conducted with more than 20 women, found that those who took it had an increased chance of having sexual problems.

In the trials involving 10 women, the women taking Viagra also had a greater chance of having a heart attack and stroke, Nissen said.
